Sub Bass Glue

Yesterday my work SUB RESONANCE (CELLOPHANE) went online through my imprint Soft Apple. I just love this work as it is so fluid and malleable. To my ears, it sounds like a mixture of Diamonds and grit bound together with very strong sub-bass glue. It is a take on Cellophane Resonance that I wrote 4 years ago for a show called Natures Numbers which was inspired by the work of Delia Derbishire. At the start of December my work Our Noise is coming out on Soft Apple, Our Noise was written for a 22-speaker platform for the Collection (Museum) in Lincon in 2015. It was installed for quite a few weeks. I wrote 22 individual tracks that played in mono across a large stone wall. It was so exciting to hear my music play that way, such a brilliant experience. When it comes out in December I will write some more. The end of the year is coming up. It has been both extremely good and extremely hard. I'm very grateful for the support and kindness people have shown my work and creativity.I have had such an interesting year meeting new people and working in different ways with sound / electronic music. Now I'm looking forward to December and next year. I hope you enjoy Sub Resonance ( Cellophane) Jo
